Nice little travertine floor to update this utility recently.

It is not often you will see me tile over tiles, but the orginal ones have been down 25+ years and still completely solid.

Using the right processes and products in this situation gives me full confidence to get the job done without the need to rip up the old tiles.

Recently completed ensuite project – take a look through the photos 👇

This job includes the Schlüter-Systems Ltd Kerdi waterproofing and Ditra decoupling, and their JOLLY trim in brushed brass for that professional finish 👌🏻

All work completed using BAL Tiling flex one adhesive and Micromax Jasmine grout with matching silicone.

Lutezia 300x600 tiles and all materials supplied by Tile & Stone Gallery Trade

Clean working throughout, with attention to the finer details like trim, grout lines, and colour-matched silicone to bring everything together perfectly.

Framlingham Project - Hallway & entrance floor

Recently completed full floor installation in Framlingham, involving subfloor preparation and tiling.

The subfloor presented height variations of up to 12mm, which were corrected using appropriate levelling compounds to ensure a flat and stable base. A decoupling membrane was installed to accommodate potential substrate movement and prevent tile cracking.

Tiling was carried out in the client's specified layout and design, using the full BAL Tiling System, ensuring full compatibility across products and qualifying the installation for an extended manufacturer's guarantee.

Scope of works included:
•Uplift and disposal of existing carpet and skirting
•Subfloor levelling and surface preparation
•Installation of decoupling membrane
•Tile installation using BAL adhesives and grouts
•Door trimming to accommodate new floor height
•Skirting reinstallation for a clean, professional finish
