This Job has been a fight against the rain and coldweather 🥶 we have had recently but got the porch finished today💪. Looking nice and sharp and is now ready to accept the roof timbers.

Last week had to take down and rebuild a Gable end down due to a bow in the centre as you can see from the pictures. Taken down, removal of rubble and Rebuilt in 4 days ready to accept a Window and attic trusses for a loft conversion.

Had to move the door to the right by building a new brick reveal to accept the a steel to support existing lintel and inner skin brickwork. Also had to build a structural wall to support under the top of a stairs to accept a new door frame. Plus a new opening to get under the stairs with a supporting lintel. Barnett Carpentry & Building

Recent work completed. A chimney that was ready to fall down has been replaced. Some railings wire brushed down and some fresh Hammerite, ready for winter !
