Let’s talk about Wood Floor Samples:-

At Naked Floors, we provide Engineered Oak Flooring Samples to the trade and public via Post.

It’s a really common misunderstanding that a small off cut of a Plank of Engineered Wood Flooring only shows one part of an individual plank’s color range.

When a full plank is used / laid in situ’, you’ll see the natural variations throughout its length, and each piece in the installation might differ slightly or extremely.

Essentially, the full floor, one laid will present a more diverse and dynamic range of hues than any single sample can represent.

One thing that keeps Builders, Architects and renovators of Period Homes coming back to Naked Floors is the overall ‘hard to find’ and ‘outstanding continuous quality’, a rare find these days.

Grade 1 Listed 18th Century Mansion

It’s Throwback Thursday, how time flies from 2006:-

On the outskirts of Brighton is the Grade 1 Listed 18th Century Mansion, Stanmer House. Set in Stanmer Park, Stanmer House has stood proudly since 1722. Exclusive to the Pelham Family until 1947, this Country House is now accessible by the public.

Stanmer House was restored in 2006 with some parts modernised. The project went on to receive two English Heritage awards.

Beautiful example of a Victorian Radiator.

Late 19th century Victorian radiator with a built in warming oven, which was usually used to keep plates warm before serving food on them.

I personally would use it as an underwear and socks drawer. Imagine putting them on during the cold winter months…
