A few plants looking particularly lovely in the nursery this week 💚

Which one is your favourite?

Mine might have to be Geranium ‘Summer Skies’, even if I can’t propagate it because of pbr.

Delivering this gift of plants today 💚

Life threw us a little curve ball yesterday, so we’re out delivering on this beautiful sunny Sunday.

When you’ve grown the plants yourself, it’s lovely to see them being given as a gift 💚

Salvia ‘Blue Monrovia’ looking beautiful this morning 💙

The rich blue flowers are proving popular with both the bees and me. One of those salvias that always catches your eye in the garden.

Keeping the edges neat 💚

Such a simple job, but one of the most effective ways to make a garden look tidy and cared for. A freshly cut edge instantly defines borders, makes plants stand out and gives the whole garden a polished look.

Salvia ‘Royal Velours’ looking beautiful in the rain this afternoon 💚

We’ve just added a few more of these gorgeous salvias to the website. Deep velvety crimson flowers, loved by pollinators and flowering for months.

One of the things we love most about growing plants is the wildlife they attract 💚

Today we spotted a Painted Lady, a Comma Butterfly, a Beautiful Demoiselle, a Pyramidal Orchid in the meadow, and of course our resident robin.

We don’t use pesticides or herbicides in the nursery, and it’s lovely to see so much wildlife making itself at home.

A few moments from a wonderful weekend at Niton Open Gardens 💚

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, bought plants, shared gardening stories, and supported our little nursery.

It was lovely meeting so many new people, catching up with familiar faces, and seeing everyone enjoying the gardens despite the rather wild weather!

We’re back at the nursery this week, propagating, potting on, and getting more plants ready for your gardens.

Thank you for supporting our small Isle of Wight business
