Intergas compact 30 ov boiler service.
This had been "serviced" annually by an insurance type company. They never had the combustion chamber opened so there was a build up of crap in the heat exchanger fins. Speedy boiler installation this week. Tenants had intermittent hot water and heating and previous engineers had conducted repairs. After a few days the problems returned. Landlady decided to change the boiler. A vaillant ecotec pro 30kw combi fitted very nicely in to the kitchen cupboard.
Complete with a 7 year manufacturer warranty.
Happy customer, and more importantly, happy tenants.

Client reported a drip from a ceiling. We were lucky enough to uncover a fractured lead pipe - last thing on a Friday - which had to be replaced from the loft to the ground floor in order to keep the clients taps flowing. If you have lead pipes, get rid!

This is the inside of a boiler flue.you can see that the plastic inner duct has deteriorated. This means that the boiler is unsafe and the flue must be replaced. In this instance, the client decided that they would like to install a new vaillant ecotec plus combi boiler with a 10 year guarantee.
Get your boiler serviced annually to spot issues such as this.

A leaking toilet that wiggled its way out of the waste pipe connector.
Toilet removed, area cleaned. Toilet re-fitted with new fixings and connectors. Finished with a neat silicone seal.

Roper Rhodes Persian walnut fitted bathroom furnirure. Nice stuff.

Full bathroom refurb.
Removed existing suite, tiles, floor.
Replastered walls, ceiling.
Fitted concealed shower valve, new 750mm wide fibreglass bath.
Tiled walls and floor.
Fitted all furniture and sanitaryware.
There were plenty of surprises along the way, including a live wire buried in the wall, a basin unit that was massively oversized for the space and two defective basins which had to be sent back.
We got there in the end.
