AV Architects We are an independent Architecture practice based in Steeton, West Yorkshire. Established by RIBA qualified Architect Marc Taylor.

The services we offer include the full scope of those defined within the Royal Institute British Architects Stages of Work to develop projects from inception or feasibility stage, to acquisition of planning and building regulation statutory approvals, the administration of tender process and appointment of Contractor’s and finally administering the construction contract during the construction pro

cess. We recognize every project is unique and work with our Clients to deliver a service to meet their individual needs. The company undertakes commissions ranging from minor domestic works to small to medium size residential developments. We are also involved in various commercial projects in the healthcare and education sectors. Establish in 2010 the practice has already delivered a varied portfolio of projects including local bespoke new build house projects in Haworth, Oakworth, and Bingley, a number of unique extension projects to domestic properties throughout the Aire and Wharf valley areas to the west of Bradford and Leeds, as well as attained planning for an extensive renovation project to a mid 19th Century Farmhouse and associated outbuilding in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Our commercial activities have predominantly been in the education sector helping to deliver numerous renovation and alteration schemes throughout the Bradford district. We are enthusiastic about our work and committed to delivering optimum design solutions and recognize the collaborative nature of the Architectural process. We have many contacts with industry consultants such as Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and other specialist and endeavor to work with those personnel and our Clients in a personable and approachable manner.

Another AV Architects project up and running on site. Acquiring necessary planning permissions proved difficult with the scheme only supported on appeal, but this 3 bedroom new build dwelling fits the site effectively and also fits comfortably with the wider street scene.

Historic Haworth mill undergoes a £200,000 facelift 💪🏻🏗️

Family firm Wyedean Weaving, which occupies the Bridgehouse Mill complex at Haworth, has invested £160,000 in the modernisation scheme.

And just over £40,000 was awarded by Keighley Towns Fund.

The company has been involved in some prestigious projects, including being awarded the contract to manufacture the British Armed Forces’ new regimental flags, following King Charles III’s Coronation.

The project had heavy involvement by Yorkshire based firm AV Architects
