The dreaded rubbish copper.

Some of you may know that a lot of houses and extensions built in the area around a certain time, seem to be fitted with poor 15mm copper pipework.

This shows in the form of a pinhole in the copper pipework, typically on 15mm cold mains.

On my last run in with the poor copper, I discovered another leaking pinhole in the same pipe that had not yet made its way through the plasterboard yet.

Now yes I know it is only August but winter will soon be upon us ❄️🥶

We become extremely busy over the winter period responding to a vast amount of boiler breakdowns and heating issues.

It is strongly recommended to have your boiler serviced annually and to check your heating appliances are all in good working order before we reach the winter season. 🔥

A recent shower enclosure update 🚿✨️

Our customers old shower enclosure was problematic and causing leaks 💦

Tom removed all tiles along with the old shower tray and enclosure. Damp plasterboard removed and replaced with water boards before tiling with new ones chosen by our customer from Smart Tiles UK. A larger shower tray and door installed as requested by the customer 😀

A recent boiler installation completed by Tom 👌

Our customers old boiler was non condensing, the new Vaillant Combi boiler installed is now condensing and significantly more efficient than the old non-condensing boiler. Achieving efficiencies of 90% or higher, compared to around 78% for non-condensing boilers. This higher efficiency translates to lower fuel bills and a smaller carbon footprint 👣

Condensing boilers work by recovering heat from the exhaust gases, which is otherwise lost through a chimney in non-condensing boilers 🔥

Good morning to all our lovely customers 😊

Firstly we would like to apologise for the lack of content posted via our page over these recent months.

I have currently been away on maternity leave as Tom and I welcomed another beautiful girl, Kaci Mai, into the world in April, 👶💕 Life has been pretty chaotic with two young babies in the house 🥴😅 And Tom has been busy out on jobs working hard as usual 👨‍🔧💪

I am back as of today and will be catching up with all email enquiries and posting all of Tom's hard work back up on our page. 🛁🚿

Hello to all my lovely customers.

The pride of this business is providing top quality workmanship along with fantastic communication response time.

While I will strive to keep things running as smoothly as they have been doing, I no longer have the added support of Sarah running admin tasks, responding and dealing with enquiries.

Old gravity fed vented cylinder and shower pump removed and a new high pressure unvented cylinder fitted 🛢
Pipework altered to comply with building regualtions 🔧
Cylinder comes with a 25 year warranty

The benefits of having an unvented hot water cylinder:
