Reclaimed character with a Modern finish

We completed this project last year, and it was an absolute pleasure to be involved in from start to finish.

The idea behind this one was heritage meets modern living, using reclaimed materials, character pieces, and features with real history, then bringing them together with a clean, modern finish.

We’ve never really shared the internal photos from this project before, so it was great to go back, take some pictures, and see it all finished and being lived in.

What makes it even better is that the customer is now using us again for their next project in the garden, which is always a massive compliment to the team.

A proper character-filled home with a modern twist.

En-suite coming together nicely 👌

Tiles are in, shower tray and panels are fitted, WC is in, and we’re now on with the final bits, basin, pipework, trims, silicone and snagging.

Clean, simple and making good use of the space, especially with the sloped ceiling.

Puggy talking through some of the stonework on site today 👷‍♂️🪨

This project is going to be something special. It’s the biggest landscape garden design we’ve taken on to date and weve done some good ones. When it’s finished, it’s going to be one of the best gardens in Northamptonshire.

We’ve got a team working inside on the internal refurbishment and our landscaping team outside transforming the rear garden.

The outside works include

✅ 114m² of natural stonework
✅ Around 350m² of limestone paving
✅ Retaining walls
✅ Outdoor kitchen and BBQ area
✅ Bar area
✅ Shower and toilet area
✅ New swimming pool area
✅ Pergolas and Balcony
✅ Oak trellises for grape vines
✅ Feature lighting and planting
✅ Steps and level changes throughout
✅ Paddock area for goats, alpacas and animals
And much more

This garden has been designed by an award-winning designer, and it’s going to be a serious transformation.

Another ERG Builders extension taking shape in Ketton Stamford
Stonework, oak frame, cut roof, structural detail this is the part of the job most people never see once it’s covered up, but this is exactly where the standard is set.
A good build isn’t made at the end with paint and finishes.
It’s made here.
In the structure.
