Part 3: The finishing touches complete this project, with a carefully considered boot room and utility space bringing both practicality and refinement to the home.

The boot room features bespoke carpentry, providing generous drawers for shoe storage, extensive coat hanging space, and elevated basket storage to keep everything neatly organised.

A natural curved archway leads through into the utility room, where custom panelling, in-frame cabinetry, and open shelving have been fitted throughout, all finished in Farrow & Ball Biscuit to create a light and welcoming feel. Worktops in Brazilian leathered granite add durability and texture, while a distinctive chequered tiled floor introduces contrast and character underfoot.

A thoughtful way to complete a project defined by detail, craftsmanship, and considered design.

Part 2: We’re really pleased to have delivered this fantastic open-plan extension.

By knocking through and connecting the original rear living room to the kitchen, then extending out by 7 metres, we’ve created a huge, light-filled space that completely transforms how the home is used.

Two large architectural roof lanterns flood the room with natural light, enhancing the sense of space throughout. Flush casement windows and doors, finished in agate grey, provide a stylish, traditional aesthetic, while internally they’ve been picture-framed in timber to complete the look.

The layout is anchored by a large Jøtul log burner, forming a striking centrepiece, set on Kilkenny Irish limestone and complemented by a French oak floor running throughout. Above the dining area, a hand-painted fine bone china light from Lyngard adds a subtle focal point.

Details matter: a cast iron Arroll radiator with foundry-cast valves sits perfectly beneath the picture window, while custom handcrafted panelling and trim, finished in Farrow & Ball Broccoli Brown, add depth and character.

Externally, the space opens onto Egyptian sandstone paving, and a diffused LED strip lighting outside gives the extension a warm glow into the evening.

Part 1: Here’s a beautiful bespoke in-frame kitchen we’ve just completed in Blakedown.

Hand-finished in Farrow & Ball Tanner’s Brown, this space combines classic craftsmanship with carefully selected premium materials. The surrounding worktops are crafted from Carrara marble, while the island features an exquisite slab of Brazilian granite, specially sourced and finished with a distinctive leathered texture.

A significant amount of solid brass hardware from Alexander & Wilks has been used throughout, paired with custom Delft tiles from Decorum to add character and detail. Brass corner protectors have also been incorporated to preserve and protect key edges while complementing the overall design.

Subtle diffused LED lighting has been integrated within the cupboards and beneath the cabinets, enhancing both functionality and atmosphere. The centrepiece cooker is a Rangemaster Elise 110 with optional brass fittings, complemented by hand-painted fine bone china pendant lights above the island, supplied by Lyngard.

A great example of how thoughtful design and quality materials come together to create something truly special.

We spent last Friday evening at the Hyatt for the Federation of Master Builders awards ceremony.

It was great to meet all the other businesses and we’re proud to be a part of the FMB. Congratulations to everyone that won there was some amazing work!

We sadly didn’t win the category we were shortlisted for this year, but with the fantastic projects we have lined up I’m sure we’ll be in with another chance next year.

This project was all about pushing boundaries—literally!

We opened up the space by removing walls, installing steel beams, and transforming a dull garage into a sleek, multi-functional utility room. It’s the perfect blend of form and function, with plenty of room for laundry, storage, and more.

A beautiful, hand-painted custom kitchen, gleaming quartz worktops, a massive island with double sinks, and solid brass hardware really take it to the next level.

Large aluminum sliding doors allow light to flood into the room, showing off the herringbone Karndean flooring. The space feels fresh, modern, and totally reimagined.
