Another tidy upgrade completed on this beautiful detached property ✨

We’ve installed 4 modern exterior wall lights to enhance both the look and nighttime visibility of the home. The fittings used are the Idolite Nordica Linear Stick LED Wall Lights in dark grey, giving a really sharp, contemporary finish while providing a warm 3000K glow.

We’re also considering adding an additional fitting to the left of the front door to create a more symmetrical and balanced appearance across the frontage.

Great day attending the Paxton Tech Tour at Delta Hotels Worsley Park Country Club 👌
Spent some time getting hands on with the new Paxton Solo system from and it’s a really smart addition to their lineup.
It neatly fills that gap between standalone and fully networked systems. Perfect for sites that need more flexibility and control than a basic standalone setup, but without the complexity of a full system.
Clean, simple, and exactly what’s been missing for a lot of installs. Definitely one I’ll be recommending on the right jobs 🔐

A practical upgrade for a property that needs reliable power.

We recently installed a generator changeover switch for this countryside home, where power cuts are a regular issue. This allows the property to be safely and quickly switched over to generator supply when the mains goes down, keeping essential systems up and running.

The system has been designed to integrate with the customer’s existing generator, while also allowing for easy upgrades in the future without the need for major alterations.
A clean, safe solution that adds real peace of mind in more rural locations where outages can be frequent.

We recently installed six decorative wall lanterns around this countryside property, adding both style and much needed exterior lighting. With no street lighting nearby, the area was completely pitch black at night, so this installation has massively improved visibility and overall security.
Carefully positioned to highlight key areas of the home, the lanterns create a warm, welcoming look while making the property feel safer after dark.
A great example of how the right lighting can completely transform both the appearance and practicality of a home.

The client contacted us regarding a set of electric gates that had failed within the first year of installation. Due to several issues, they had already parted ways with the original installer.

During our initial site visit and quotation stage, we identified significant concerns with the installation. All cabling, including that supplying the gate motors, had been run using alarm cable, which is not suitable for this application. In addition, given the education and commercial nature of the site, the absence of appropriate safety edges and compliant control measures presented a serious safety risk.

We carried out a full upgrade of the motor cabling and installed multiple safety edges on both the internal and external faces of the gates to bring the system in line with current safety expectations. The primary fault was traced to incorrect motor connections.

The gates are now fully operational and significantly safer for users.

The final phase of the project, following completion of the tarmac works, will be the installation of a vehicle detection loop. Once complete, the system will provide reliable and compliant operation for many years to come. ✅

Some sleek Paxton Access stainless steel panels installed today, replacing damaged ABS plastic units.

Existing entry points were cleaned, filed and treated with galvanising spray before pop riveting the new panels in place, ensuring a solid and long lasting install ✅
