Going forward with any of our larger jobs we will require quarterly payments throughout - this will be explained within the terms and conditions stated on your quote prior to acceptance. Unfortunately we have had a recent situation where completed work was not paid for and customer stopped the project and has since commenced with another tradesperson - the reason was not due to workmanship as per the customers own admission but due to the fact that the job was taking too long! No timescales were discussed or agreed prior to the customer accepting the quote and work commencing. Reasons for delays were explained to the customer (weather/personal circumstances etc) and the job did progress within a reasonable time where possible. Here is an example of the work that was done and not paid for (Troon area) to prove that the workmanship is good. This matter will be taken forward as I’m sure you will agree that Alex is very good at what he does and that it is unfair to withhold his hard earned money.
