Got a call from a client needing a handrail installed so their stairclimber could be fitted. They’d already contacted two joiners who never showed. We came out, measured up, priced it, sourced a more cost‑effective material, and got it done first thing this morning. Finished by lunch and the customer can now move ahead with the stairclimber install.

Back in Kilmaurs today for a returning client. She loved the last job, so now we’re hiding the old pebble‑dash and tying it in with the wall and garden room we built before. Always a good feeling when someone brings you back.

ay two on the garage roof and I’m full of the cold today.
Got the last of the dwangs in, fitted the OSB deck, and added the drip edge round the fascia so we’re ready for the felt tomorrow. Rough morning but still decent progress.

Kicked off a garage roof rebuild today.
Stripped the old corrugated sheets and replaced them with structural joists and a solid wall bearer to support the new deck the customer wants for maintenance access. Rain forced us to stitch the old sheets back on for protection, but we still got the dwangs in and the PVC fascia fitted. Ready to push on tomorrow.

Final day in Stewarton. Scaffold dropped and loaded with the two apprentices helping to clear everything off site. Job fully wrapped up and looking spot on.

Day three in Stewarton and the weather wasn’t on our side.
Rain on and off all day so we cut our losses, but still managed to get all the fascia fitted and most of the cladding done. Started forming the new boxed eaves too, so hopefully tomorrow’s the day we get it finished — I know I keep saying that, but you’ve got to stay hopeful.
