All hands on deck for a quick turnaround!

This client wanted their original patio extended and a slate path laid to connect the two areas together on their new build. The only catch being they needed it done ASAP!

After several quotes of £15k and up we stepped in and did the all work within a week and for considerably less 😉

So if you think you've left it too late to have some quality landscape gardening done and everyone is booked up...its something else we can do 🛠

So just finished another bespoke project for a very satisfied repeat client.

Why have that fake panel effect wall paper when you can have the real thing, custom made to suit your individual taste?

First off was getting all that awful paper off, then having to prep the walls (with around 80 individual repairs!), paint the walls, making the panels and finally painting them.

There's a reason why we're 5* Google rated 🛠

Another day, another satisfied client 😉

This lady had an INTERNAL door on the side of her garage...so we had to find a sturdy & secure external replacement that would fit the original frame.

After a LOT of searching to find just the right one we got to work and needless to say, it looks fantastic...not to mention far more conducive 😂

We also fitted a handrail on the rear door for her to make it easier to enjoy her garden this year.

After a long week of graft it's nice to wake-up to a bit of sun!

This week saw us in Downham Market, redecorating for a lovely lady who had enough of waking up in an old tango commercial 🤣

Firstly we replaced some floorboards that had rotted away after the old emersion heater had been removed. Secondly it was on to repairing what seemed like a neverending list of cracks and d***s all the way from the celings to the skirting. Then finally it was on to the hallway where the last decorator seemed to have a mare with cutting in...

This client not only trusted us to do the work but they also asked us to choose the colour and as you can see, the transformation speaks for itself.

Sometimes our clients have busy weeks so at D.I.Y.4.U we try to make your life a little easier and fit in around your schedule.

Today we custom made some skirting in another period property due to the original bespoke skirting getting hacked & thrown away by an overzealous plasterer 🙄 as you can see, an almost invisible transition between old and new.

Then it was off to fit an outside light where we had to strip the outside cladding to get access to the external power source.

When we finished, the only evidence of us being there was a completed job and another satisfied customer ⚒️

Well that's the end to another busy week!

First off was replacing the skirting, fitting a couple of uplights, sockets and making good on a period property circa 1860.

Next was laying some rigid vinyl flooring in a delightful bungalow. Those keen eyed followers will notice in the last photo the three architrave cuts & skirting cut all on ONE board.

That's why we get most of our work through recomendation...pay once and get it done right 🛠

This is why you DON'T go for the cheapest price as its cheap for a reason!

I can't believe there are still "tradesmen" out there doing work like this and getting away with it...more to the point I'm shocked people think that cheap work is good.

Don't get ripped off...pay once, pay right and enjoy your home without the hassle.

Hope we all had a good weekend and are ready for another week of graft👍

Today's job was to fit a new bath fascia as the last one (even though only 2 years old) had been fitted UPSIDE-DOWN and let water in which ultimately turned it to mush.

Once removed a new one was fitted properly and resealed ⚒️

There's a saying that goes: good work ain't cheap and cheap work ain't good.

Sure, you can always find someone cheaper but you'll pay for it eventually as they're cheap for a reason!

Hence why we charge what we do because:

This client is looking to sell their bungalow in a lovely area but after a nasty water leak, they had their carpets ripped up, were left with a horrific mess and have been struggling to get viewings.

So we redecorated the entire property inclusive of all walls, skirting boards, architraves and doors.
We then fixed, prepped and laid new flooring where the old damage had been.

It'll be sold in no time 😉
