Hunstanton Wet Room & Bathroom Transformation

We were approached by a customer in Hunstanton after they had purchased their bathroom products from Easy Bathrooms. They asked us to visit, design the wet room, and provide a quotation for the installation due to the scale and complexity of the project. This was far beyond a standard bathroom installation.

Fast forward six months, and work began. We started by completely removing the existing bathroom, including a shower tray that sat approximately 200mm above floor level. Once everything was stripped out, we broke through the concrete floor, installed new drainage for the toilet and linear shower drains, and carefully created the required floor gradients for the wet room.

The customer’s tile choice inspired a unique feature around the linear drain, which we were more than happy to create. This bespoke detail complements the overall design perfectly and gives the room the wow factor the customer was looking for.

Moving on to the main bathroom, the customer’s pride and joy was a beautiful double-ended curved bath. Fitting this bath into the available space was a challenge, but by relocating drainage, altering pipework within the walls, excavating sections of the floor, and repositioning the toilet waste, we were able to make it work exactly as envisioned.

The end result is two stunning bathrooms that deliver everything the customer hoped for from the outset. Seeing a project of this scale come together and exceed expectations is what makes our work so rewarding.

What an incredible transformation completed today for another returning customer! 👏

After renovating their ensuite last year, the customer invited us back to completely remodel their main bathroom — and what a result it turned out to be.

This project involved:

Wow—what an incredible final outcome after five weeks of hard work!

This project started with a returning customer we first worked with three years ago. They asked us to renovate their existing ensuite (which only had a shower) and explore the possibility of a brand-new main bathroom. After plenty of back-and-forth on designs, what began as a simple idea quickly grew into a major transformation.

We completely overhauled the drainage outside, replaced the soil vent pipe, and ran new drainage into the ensuite to add a toilet. Once we stripped everything back, we uncovered old lath and plaster walls that were damp and rotten—so we rebuilt, retiled, and fully installed a brand-new ensuite that turned out fantastic.

Moving on to the main bathroom, we discovered dry rot in the floor joists. This meant removing and replacing the entire floor structure. With a low-level window to work around, we custom-built a framework for the bath and fully tiled the space—giving the bathroom a stunning finish we’re really proud of.

But it didn’t stop there…

We then headed about a mile down the road to the customer’s daughter’s house, where the bathroom hadn’t been touched in around 60 years. We removed the dividing wall to create one large space, stripped everything back to the joists, replaced all pipework and drainage, installed a new mains feed, and connected shower pumps into the airing cupboard.

The result? A beautiful modern bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower, a statement shower bath, a double basin unit, and a completely reconfigured layout—all fully tiled and finished to a high standard.
