Help please! What is happening to my tomatoes? So far only one plant affected. Do I need to pull it out to prevent it from spreading to others?

🐸✨ LIFE UNDER THE LILY LEAF ✨🐸

One of my favourite things about having a wildlife pond in my allotment garden is quietly watching the magic of life unfold…

Back in spring, frogs (or maybe toads?) returned and filled the pond with strings and clusters of eggs a tiny black dots floating in jelly. Fast forward to now… and just look at them!

From squirmy tadpoles to tiny, fully-formed froglets, they’ve been busy transforming all summer long. Yesterday, I spotted them in every stage, some still underwater with tails, others perched like little pond royalty on lily leaves and even a couple exploring the pond edge. Can you spot them in the photos? They’re camouflaged very well!

It’s such a joy to watch nature do its thing, especially when you’ve created a space that makes wildlife feel welcome.

If you’re thinking of adding a pond to your garden, even a small one, I highly recommend it. It’s like having a tiny nature documentary playing live every day.

Let me know if you’d like tips on creating your own frog-friendly haven! 🐸🪷
