Hello everyone.
As many of you will know we have had some problems this season, some covid related, some not. We have been in a muddle, I freely admit it and there remains a long list of orders to do. However we have just finished training more staff and are working hard to get all orders out asap. If you have an outstanding order you WILL get it. We are also working at improving the admin and correspondence side of things so if you have any issues please do e-mail us using the link on the website. Thank you.

Autumn 2017 has been, and continues to be, our busiest ever - and that's with 35 years trading to compare!
Being honest, we have been caught out a little - and by our usual very speedy standards of dispatch, yes we are behind dispatching the orders. We have issued everyone with an update, sometimes two to keep people informed whilst at the same time working as long as absolutely possible packing all those fruit trees!
We would like to thank all our many customers for their patience, understanding and, often, kind words! It means a lot to have your support, true gardeners know that sometimes things take a little time and these not being 'off the shelf' products sometimes things may take a little longer than anticipated. We ARE catching up bit by bit and every day the lead time gets a bit shorter. Rest assured those of you yet to receive your order you will do so as soon as absolutely possible and that the planting season has still barely begun - planting now will still give you great results. Although the weather is turning earlier than usual, as long as your soil is workable it's good to plant.
And finally, to the very small percentage of perhaps not so understanding customers, all we can do is apologise and assure you that we couldn't be trying any harder - we are almost working every hour God sends and will continue to do so.
I will write again as soon as we are fully up to date.
In the meantime new enquiries remain welcome and all new orders will continue to receive an honest expectation of when delivery will be made. It has by the way never been longer than the statutory 28 days that many of our competitors work to as standard.

Autumn planting has now begun and we are despatching ex-container right now and bare root from next week - so get planning and preparing; earlier planting takes advantage of warmer soil so the bushes and trees get nicely established before winter sets in - plus you also get full availability!

Fays Prolific Redcurrant is another 'oldie' which to the best of our knowledge is unique to our nursery now. Although cropping potential doesn't quite compare to the best of the modern varieties flavour and quality are both well above par. Early season - does well as a cordon.
