Safe to say everyone involved was very happy to see the back of this job. This root base was about 12ft from the ground and had rolled a third of a turn before we got the go ahead for this job. It was a beast!

This set-up was with the 6-way split. We also have the option of a 2 way, 4 way and 8 way.

Providing the timber is fed to the machine it can very easily do 20 plus cubic meters a day. On the best day this week we managed approximately 35. Small meter lengths work just as well providing someone is loading.

For hire with operator and if required the log deck and extra manpower along with our MultiOne to load.

This week we started a 2 week contract splitting wood for a new customer with our new firewood processor.

This machine is a beast for its size and road legal with its own engine meaning we can travel to customers with ease.

All the wood is Ash which had ADB with a bit of Oak mixed in ranging from 4 to 14 inch diameter.

The first week is done and we’ve managed to produce approximately 135 cubic meters of firewood all netted up and ready for kiln drying.
