Job Opportunity

Experienced Bench Joiner required to work as a bench joiner. Must have Bench Joinery Experience... Job involves the assembly of high end bespoke timber windows and doors. Precision and attention to detail is a must. Own hand tools required.
Please note:
1. Plastic windows are not timber windows, aluminium windows are not plastic or timber!
2. Caravans are not windows
3. Gardening whilst looking at windows is not a transferable skill.
4. All hand tools must've been bought within the last 50 years
5. Occasional heavy lifting required - you must be able to occasionally lift heavy things.

Bench/Site joiner required (installing what you make). Working mainly on timber windows. Bench work in our workshop in East Hull and site work mainly in private houses within Hull and surrounding area (no working away!)

Great to see East Yorkshire Judo Academy doing well post lockdown! Training hard, getting ready for competitions as they start to be held again.
In early 2020 we gave them a dojo at the back of our workshop to help their elite players with training, who knew Covid was coming!! During lockdown we sponsored them further with various developments to the dojo including a new sprung floor to help make training a safer and an even more enjoyable experience!
We hope to support EYJA further as the club develops and wish the best of luck to all of their players competing in the upcoming C2 International event.

2 x Joinery positions available at Traditional Windows.

(1 x permanent, 1 x suit self employed)
1st is a full time, hourly wage, permanent contract. High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail required. Work will be both assembling in the workshop and out on domestic sites carrying out repairs and installs. Driving licence needed.

2nd job would suit self employed joiner, carrying out site works as above. Booked in advance and paid price per job. Each job averaging 2-5 days work.

Experienced joiner needed, 39 hours a week plus some overtime. The job is a mixture of assembling timber windows and doors in the joinery workshop and working in domestic properties either installing the product or carrying out repair work to existing windows. Full driving licence and own tools required.
