Mr Tony Cook founded the business as an agricultural contractor and later opened the country store in 1986 to compliment the existing business. His son, Vanston Cook, joined the business, channelling his energies in to the fencing side of the business and acquired the premises at Skirlaugh. This allowed for the rapid expansion and diversification the Tony Cook Group thrives from today.
