🌿💕 A couple of gorgeous shade-loving favourites have just arrived! 💕🌿

If you’ve got a shady spot in the garden that struggles to shine, these two are absolute winners.

🌸 Bergenia – masses of pretty pink flowers above large glossy evergreen leaves. Tough, reliable and provides year-round interest.

We’ve had a few people ask about customer toilets, so I just wanted to give you a little update.

As a retail garden centre, we’re not legally required to provide public toilets, which is why the previous owners never installed them during the 30 years they were here. Since taking over 18 months ago, it’s something we’ve always known we wanted to address because we agree that customer facilities are important.

The good news is that public toilets are part of our future plans and will be installed when our tea room project is completed. Unfortunately, we simply can’t do everything at once, and we’ve had to prioritise improvements in stages.

In the meantime, there are facilities available very nearby. The Bluebell Inn Old Ellerby is less than a minute’s drive away, and Railway Inn is a four minute away and also serves food if you fancy a bite to eat while you’re out and about.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support while we work towards making Stag Garden Centre even better. We really do appreciate it. 💚

These beauties have been grown outdoors, here in East Yorkshire, so they’re already used to our local climate and conditions 🌿💙

They’re absolutely packed with buds and ready to put on an incredible display in your garden over the coming weeks.
