Our team installed external Silver 20 and Silver 50 reflective solar window film to these large architectural skylights to help control heat, reduce glare, and provide 99% UV protection.

Due to the size, location, and access requirements of the skylights, specialist scaffolding was required to complete the installation safely and ensure the best finish.

Silver 20 was selected for the main skylight where glare and solar heat gain were most significant, while Silver 50 was chosen for the sloping skylight to maintain a more neutral appearance while still providing excellent heat control and UV protection.

This warehouse was experiencing excessive heat build-up and limited privacy through the glazing, making the space less comfortable for staff and increasing demand on cooling systems.

Our client was experiencing severe solar gain, UV damage to their interiors, and privacy concerns from neighbouring properties.

We installed External Silver 20 Reflective Solar Film to the skylights to help reduce overhead solar gain, while Internal Silver 35 Reflective Solar Film was applied to the loft extension doors and ground floor rear bifolds.
