It’s Iona Malcolm here. I used to own Grassroots of Kingussie but ill-health meant I had to sell the business two years ago.

Ken Tait bought the business and has re-named it “The PostBox.”

The page was sold with the business but Ken does not use it at all and I still receive Facebook messages with questions for Ken which I am unable to answer so I have agreed with him that the page will now be deleted.

“HAPPY HALLOWEEN FAE THE NEEP PARK!!”

“Nae a pumpkin in sight... jist good aul fashioned neeps!!”

There was no way James was going to carve a pumpkin for Halloween he wanted to keep the old Scottish tradition alive and carve one of his own homegrown Neeps!!

And for his Halloween costume, he dressed up as a scarecrow to scare everything away and protect his neeps so there will be plenty more to sell in his Granda’s butcher’s shop in the next few months!!

Although he may not look to scary with that cheeky wee smile on his face, his neep lantern does and we thought this picture was to good not to share!!
