My final "job" of 2024 was for a very special person; my amazing grandson Oscar.
This meant a 1,050 miles round trip to Thetford from Rannoch to build it, but worth every single mile.
This is a joint Christmas present from my Dad, plus my wife and I. My son and daughter-in-law are delighted with it and it was very well received by Oscar.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of my 2024 season.
I look forward to 2025 and hope it's kind to us all.

It's not what is under the tree, it's who you have around it.

Hello folks hope you're enjoying this sunny weekend!
Thanks to being highly recommended by some amazing people, I have been working for a lady in need of gardening assistance this weekend.
7 months of not being able to get the gardens sorted, led to 12.5 hours of me putting it right for her.
I'm happy that she's happy, her smile says it all 😊.

That's it now though; no more room in the diary as I'm fully booked minimum 8hrs work per day and standard 6 day weeks going forward.

Thank you to everyone who has recommended my services and every client I have.

If you're happy and you know it cut some grass....
I must have been ecstatic that day 🤣🤣; well I was when the long wet grass turned into a decent looking lawn.
4.5 hours work, double cut to get it down and get it as tidy as possible considering the start length and it was wet.
Stunning scenery, wonderful clients, lots of work in the diary and I couldn't be happier.
Very humbled, very grateful, thank you 💖🙏💖.

This one has taken some effort and I'm glad my bit is finally done; you know the easy bit of digging up masses of very established w**ds 🙄.
The clients have been amazing, very happy to have helped them along with this job and they're progressing well with the planting and w**d suppression.
Looking forward to seeing this finished 😊.

I am very proud of our Suzie for what she's doing for the community and our valued visitors here in Kinloch Rannoch.
To be able to get a defibrillator installed at the pods will have a huge positive impact for potential life saving treatment.
Rannoch fire station is manned proudly by volunteers, the community genuinely look out for each other and my wife and I have been made very welcome since we landed in Rannoch last August.

Please donate to this excellent cause, just £5 will make a difference.
Yes some people may think "it'll never get used, what's the point?"
Here's the point:
There is always the chance it WILL get used and it may be on someone YOU love.

How often do we say "I'd give everything to have that person back". Well here's your chance to give something to help keep someone here.

Well folks this was a big one.

I have a t-shirt that says " if you don't quit you cannot fail" and believe me this was one of those moments.
A truly amazing property to work at, for a new client and the opportunity to leave a wildlife area just with a single walkway around the edge was right up my street.
I always say that working WITH nature gets the best results.

Sometimes there's no other way to get the right result than simply hard work.
This garden is working out well thanks to the customer enhancing my efforts and getting membrane and plants in asap.
Really looking forward to seeing this one fully completed; updates will follow in time.

HELLO FOLKS, WELCOME TO THE WEEKEND!! 😃

The TLC van is back on the road and has been put to good use straight away. I've been trying hard to get to see as many of my wonderful clients as possible these past few days. I truly appreciate everyones patience and kindness during this recent bit of a hindrance.

A few snapshots of getting bits back on track and a wee bit of farm life. They were hilarious to be around.

Hi folks hope you're having a great weekend.

Whilst I'm waiting for my van repairs to be completed I'm getting done what I can. I truly appreciate my customers patience during this time and I'm really looking forward to getting my van back from the garage. Lots of work to do going forward which is a true blessing.

This work was all at one property, a loch side location, for a regular customer who is very happy with my work.
One thing I love to see is how a garden progresses, how it becomes a fun place to be for the client and how they, health permitting, work in their garden as well.
A lot of people get stuck at starting with their garden, yet when progress starts it can be a fantastic boost to mental and physical health.
I'm proud to be a part of that.

BREAKING NEWS: Gardener cuts grass and lots of it!!
Okay so it's not exactly exciting for you to see but it's my first time cutting grass in months. I regularly get to properties and they have someone cutting their grass; yet that person won't do the borders so I get them to do.
Win win really, no-one goes out of business 💖 and now you know that I do cut grass as well 😊.

Some sad news though regarding my van. Currently has a starter motor issue so it's back up plan of car and trailer for a little while.
I hate doing this, it doesn't look professional and it can limit the jobs I'm able to do. Mainly working at heights, my ladders are too big to transport this way.
I'll be very happy when I get my van back to 100%.

I'm rearranging customers to the best of my abilities regarding the van issue. I will get to you and I truly appreciate your patience.

Hello folks.
Stunning drive to work this morning on the Schiehallion road from Rannoch to Aberfeldy.

Customer request for a garden tidy up to help them out going forward.
Five and a half hours of work to get it back on track and I received a lovely message of thanks from the client.

I often have to work at a property and the client is not there for various reasons. This is where the trust factor comes in; that I'll turn up, do a good job and treat their property with respect.
Something I always strive to do 😊.
