Good afternoon, enjoying this wet year so far? Thank good ness its dry for now!

This job i did two weeks ago. The customer wanted a 6ft pond, large deck and also the chips to finish it off. First image is when i first started, second is the finished product (customer placed arch etc, sorry the image isnt the best)

The interesting thing about this job, although im not keen on Ai, the customer produced an image to show me his idea of what he wanted (last image) which really helped a lot. After some thought they decided to make the deck a bit bigger and i think they chose well on where to make the deck go. This Ai image idea is a great way for any customer who wants to be very clear on what they want. I was very impressed.

Hello all, did we have a nice christmas and new year?

Some big changes for the business for 2026! Firstly a change to the name, i have dropped the Handyman side of the business so thought it would be a good opertunity to streamline. Now the public name will be changed to “BK Garden Services. Easy to read and straight to the point. ( legal name BK Gardening and Handyman Services)

Next change is my set up with small tipper truck, and box trailer. A change from the old van and trailer manully having to unload at the commercial tip. This could take upwards of an hour if the green waste was well entangled and heavy! Seeing the tippers come and go in under a minute, i knew what i had to do. The signage etc on the vehicle is still a “work in progress” so i will add more to it in time. If you see me give a wave!

Another change is im doing a lot more landscape jobs includeing driveways, chips, slab laying, shed bases etc. very enjoyable, but i will still be doing regular garden maintence but if your looking for any landscape work, fire me a message and ile come over to provide you a quote!

Good afternoon folks, a week to go until christmas! Where does the time go?!
I did this garden and driveway last week.
It involved grass cut, hedges trimmed, w**ding and also a good pressure wash of the monoblock and slabs.

The mother of my customer was so pleased she wanter her driveway pressure washed too!

This garden got the treatment of w**ding, leaf clearing and also a grass cut! Its not usual to cut grass this time of year but doesnt do any harm aslong as its dry enough not to make a mess and isnt cut very short. I think it got Taras approval.

Hello all! How is it a monday already?!!
I did this garden last week which entailed removing old bark chip contamined with mud so w**ds were coming up like they were on caffine! Sollution? Start again. all old bark away, levelled, new w**d membrane down and new bark wheelbarrowed in place. Would you believe it only took a ton of bark to fill this area. Bark also has the benefit of being a great alternative to stone chips. I think it looks great plus its low maintenance. Are you looking for similar results in your garden?
