Aged about 10, I bought my first cactus, a 'Mammillaria' at a market in Wakefield near where I grew up. Nowadays, my plants can be found all over central Scotland. I spent years blending the raw materials for a potting mix that has grown multi-award winning cacti and succulents at many events such as Gardening Scotland. I have recently opened up a pop-up sales area at my nursery in Camps. I am al
