And they keep coming in, especially little ones. Little Sansa was found on the side of a road today near North Coates and brought to us by a mum and daughter from OT Gardens.
She is very thin, dehydrated, has a parasite infestation and quite a poorly little girl. I do hope she makes it through the night 🙏

It just hasn't calmed down at all this year and over 200 hedgehogs and hoglets have come to us so far, some days 1 or 2, and up to 8 on other days. I'm just a little at home rescue that has got bigger over the years, with a few volunteers that help in the mornings and for the rest of the day and night, it's just me and Barry. When I ask if you can help me by bringing a hedgehog, it is hugely appreciated because I just cannot go far with the amount of hoglets and hedgehogs I have here.

Please remember that a hedgehog that is out during the day will need help and to come into rescue. Please DO NOT put a hedgehog in a hedge if it is out during the day, especially one that is obviously injured e.g a leg sticking out, sores on a leg, not moving, open wounds, dragging a leg or anything you are not sure about and need advice and help with.
