It's Pollinator Week.
You can help out the pollinators in your garden by placing small dishes of water with stones or pebbles in them, so they can cool down during the hot weather.

Thanks to Graeme, Sandra, Anne, Amy & Gini for helping put out the hanging baskets & Alex Muir for taking the picture. If there are hanging baskets near where you live we'd be grateful if you could give them a water during dry spells. Thank you.

Would you like to join the Broad bean land race?

Find the broad bean that grows best in our climate, discover which pollinators visit the beans and when the time comes collect the seeds and next year sow them again. If the beans have been cross pollinated you may have created a new strain of broad bean which will be more resilient to our changing climate.

Pick up a pack of seeds at Forth eco site on Tuesday or Wednesday from 10-1.
