Couple of jobs done recently. Roof repair done near carnforth, local cricket ground had a pro turn up and didn't know his own capabilities. The roof ended up with the cricket ball lodged in the tiles after a 6 was hit. Ball removed and tiles replaced with tiles that the customer had already managed to source. Also a gutter clear added for free.

New fascias and gutters on the back of this property in lancaster. I didn't really get many decent pictures but I'm sure you can see the transformation when you look at the pictures.

Bird proofing to a roof in nether kellet. Customer had birds nesting in their roof space between the tiles and felt. Mesh was used as a deterrent and barrier to stop future birds entering the property. Gutter clear was added to this property for free

Autumn is drawing in fast, gutters and roofs are going to start giving off signs of the needs for repair or just a simple clear out. Don't leave it until you notice the damp patch or the water running in through the light fitting.

Carnforth yesterday 7/8/21 to replace the old white square guttering on a semi detached house. The gutters were white, well, green with algae and moss and looked very dated. I changed the gutters for floplast half round in black with new black round down pipe.

Torrential rain put a stop to work and the work had to be completed today 8/8/21.

Forgot to get before pictures of the white because of the rain but take my word for it the black looks far better.

From carnforth, to skerton on a repeat customer who had been left with problem gutters from the previous roofer that had done work on their property.

The neighbours of the customer had a wasp nest in there fascias. Risk assessment carried out and the safest option was to become wasp proof :) see pictures.

Down pipe repaired and managed to avoid being stung :).

This customer also had problems on the front of the property with leaking gutters that again the previous roofer had damaged.

Gutter cleared and repaired and now flowing freely.

Gutter clear today on a property in lancaster. This is the condition a local to the area roofing firm left these gutters in when they were paid and left. The property had scaffolding up and would of taken the roofers minutes to clear the gutters by hand🤬

Be careful who you hire for the work you need doing. Check on reviews, previous work carried out and also ask for references, after all, its your hard earned cash you're parting with.

These gutters should never have been left like this. The front, back, street and garden was full of slate, coffee cups and even a 1l lucozade bottle left in the gutter.

Also, the customer will need gutter repairs from the neglect and lack of care taken when the new roof was put on. as if a new roof doesn't cost enough

Another little job taken on today. This customer had an obvious broken tile and 1 not so obvious, hiding under the weathering slate. 1st tile had to be replaced using a reclaimed tile i already had as a temp solution until the suppliers got the right ones in stock. Tile sourced and replaced and now on to the tile round the soil stack. This had to be cut to fit and then the new weathering slate installed to stop water ingress.

BIRD PROOFING SOLAR PANELS

Trip through to Manchester today to bird proof some solar panles. While there, the gutters were in urgent need of clearing out. Take a look at the pictures and you can see how bad they were. 30ft of gutters and full pretty much to the brim with pidgeon droppings.

All access routes blocked up using proper materials.

All materials bought and installed BEFORE payment was made.

Pidgeons even turned up to test the end result out before the drive back.

Some recent work carried out.

Job in lancaster on pottery gardens with a leaky gutter. Gutter was leaking due to the wrong sized union (joint fitting). New union of a bigger size to make sure the adequate over hang on the seals. Rest of the gutters and condition of the roof inspected. Feedback in the pictures.

Gutters leaking in morecambe due to a blocked bend in the down pipe. Blockage removed and a new corner piece installed. All checked for leaks before leaving.

Job on the new river side estate, gutters had multiple problems with gutters not being clipped in to brackets, stop end caps breaking/ leaking and union (joint fitting) seals perished causing annoying leaks in the recent bad weather. Customer even said his wife had to sleep in a different room because of the noise.

Next job was a gutter clear with the installation of gutter brushes requested by the customer. Gutters cleared and brushes installed using purpose made brushes, secured using purpose made clips to keep them in position.

Next job was a gutter repair with future work in the diary in lancaster.

Next came a gutter clear carried out in warrington gutters cleared and anoyher happy customer.

After warrington came another 2 gutter clears in kendal. First one wanted a clear and down pipe moss filters fitted. While i cleared this one, the next door neighbour asked me to clear theirs. Once the gutters were clear they also asked me to clear the lead valley on the roof. Check pictures and review.

Gutter clean on morecambe Promenade, gained from a recommendation from a job last year from a happy customer.

Also had another job after that where a customer needed a new chimney cowl fitted in a hurry. Cowl purchased and fitted with yet another happy customer and positive review ( check pictures)

This next job was a fix using a new stop end bracket and a paint on fibreglass sealant to prevent future leaks. All joints checked with running water and no problems.
