Wishing all our clients, consultants, colleagues, builders, friends, family and followers a happy midsummer.

Midsommar festivities in Sweden are normally a time for large gatherings. Whole families or groups of friends gather to celebrate this traditional high-point of the summer. People clad a maypole with leaves and flowers, then dance, sing, play games and picnic around the maypole.

Last week we were onsite with a geotechnical engineer doing deep borehole ground investigation to inform the engineered foundation design on this project.

Fortunately, this usually isn't necessary for most domestic projects but where it is required it is important to have the right team to keep you on track.

At Skandishack we are experienced in working with professional and contractor teams to design engineered foundation solutions, retaining structures and tanking to spaces below ground level to be as cost effective as possible.
