Naggy Burn Garden Centre, a Social Enterprise of AEL, offers everything for your gardening needs while creating work experience opportunities for individuals with additional support needs. When you make a purchase at Naggy burn all of the profits are put back into the business which helps AEL provide training, work experience and paid employment for young people and adults with additional needs, l

earning disabilities and physical support needs. Constructed with the assistance of trainees and local volunteers our horticultural project is ‘state of the art’. This environmentally friendly project produces fresh vegetables, salad and fruit for our Lunchbox Café, local restaurants and individuals. 🏊RIDING LIFE’S WAVES

It’s been a tricky week.

We’ve seen one of life’s fairest flowers fade and fall.
We’ve lost a friend, a safe person, someone who got us… someone who’s been part of AEL and its journey for such a long time. That’s a difficult wave to tackle.

Then there’s a birthday to celebrate too… how does that work?
That’s a whole different wave, from a whole different direction. A really hard sea to swim in.

So we sang Happy Birthday to Aaron (21 years young and still looking gorgeous) while we grieved Darren, who was gorgeous inside and out.

And we swim on…
