This Thursday, one of our clients forever homes will feature on BBC Wales’ Wales Home of the Year, as part of the West Wales regional heats. From first ideas through to final details, every element of this home was thoughtfully designed around lifestyle, personality and how they wanted their space to feel.

Creating interiors that truly reflect the people who live in them is at the heart of what we do and this home became exactly that, spacious, characterful and beautifully considered.

One of our favourite aspects of the project was the level of personalisation throughout, each room tailored to support the way the family lives, including one of the home’s most talked about features, a bespoke pet bathroom designed especially for their beloved Dolly 🐕.. “who far prefers a bath than a shower”!

A perfect example of how thoughtful design can elevate everyday living, while celebrating what makes a house feel unmistakably like home.

From the vibrant welcoming front door, right the way through from an impressive hall space and staircase, bespoke lighting, distinctive designed kitchen and bathrooms etc. Projects like this are never achieved alone and this home is testament to skill and dedication of an exceptional team.
Craftsmanship and long lasting quality shines throughout: From the architects vision to the building contractor and his team, bespoke staircase & front door joinery , internal joinery by Gary Smith, feature lighting installed by .guymer4 , kitchen & utility manufactured & installed , decorating beautifully executed by

And of course, the garden deserves its moment, a colourful landscape that seamlessly connects home and surroundings, expertly landscaped and brought to life through curated planting by , it creates a beautiful outdoor journey that enhances every view.

This project is a true celebration of joyous tailored living and a genuine privilege to have been part of Wendy & Jonathan’s new build journey.

“We knew something needed to change…
we just didn’t know what.”

This is something I hear often and it was exactly the case here.

The room had everything it needed…
but it still didn’t feel right.

The layout felt uncertain.
The focal point was unclear.
And the space wasn’t giving back what it should.

So we didn’t just redesign it we rethought it.

We introduced a new focal point with the wood burner,
created bespoke joinery to simplify the space,
and layered the lighting to bring warmth and atmosphere.

But more importantly…
we changed how the room feels to live in.

Now it’s calm.
It flows.
It works.

And that’s always the goal.

If your home doesn’t feel quite right, there’s always a reason and a solution.

This is where architectural interior design goes beyond aesthetics it becomes problem solving with purpose.

If you’re working on a renovation, or feel your space isn’t performing as it should, I’d be happy to discuss how we can approach it differently.

The power of the right fabric.

This beautiful curtain installation features a bold textile from Donghia, chosen for its sculptural pattern and warm tonal palette.

When designing a room, fabrics play an essential role in shaping the atmosphere. The right pattern can introduce rhythm, soften architecture and add depth without overwhelming the space.

For this project textile creates a confident focal point while working harmoniously with the surrounding textures and finishes.

Installed on a Metropole wave system, allows the Donghia fabric to fall structurally and in continuous folds.

Thoughtful material selection is at the heart of every Adriana Interiors project and if your planning a renovation or interior update, I’m currently welcoming new projects for the months ahead.

Behind every well-designed kitchen or bathroom is careful research, sourcing and industry insight.

On Monday I visited the biannual exhibition at the NEC, one of the UK’s leading kitchen and bathroom trade shows. These industry events are invaluable offering the opportunity to reconnect with trusted suppliers, explore the latest product launches, and discover innovative materials and technologies that will shape future homes.

For my clients, this means access to the newest design thinking, carefully selected products, and informed decisions when planning their projects.

Particularly as this was the 40th anniversary it was very productive and inspiring day and I’m excited to bring some of these ideas into upcoming kitchen, bedroom and bathroom projects.

If you’re planning a kitchen renovation, bathroom redesign, or a wider home project, now is the perfect time to start the conversation.

I often hear “I love my room but it feels like something is missing..but not sure what?

You might not need a full makeover, just a carefully considered window transformation.

Swipe through and you will see how the power of one simple change will make you feel about the room.

From Voiles: Soft, elegant, and whisper-light.
Perfect for brightening a room that feels heavy, voiles let in natural light while offering a gentle veil of privacy. They create an effortless, open-space feel ideal for calming, contemporary interiors.

To Velvet Wave Curtains: Rich, sculptural, full of contemporary presence and warmth.

When a space feels flat or lacks character, how you style your windows is your secret weapon. With texture and structure, they add warmth, intimacy, and that designer “wow” moment, without changing a single wall.

Perfectly made bespoke curtains and blinds which transform how your space feels and functions, we are here to help!

✨ You don’t need to start over. You just need the right selected detail. ✨

Which one transforms the room best for you :- the light minimalism of voiles or the drama and warmth of the luxury velvet wave?

This isn’t just a hallway it’s a crafted experience, designed to bring beauty and calm to one of the most used yet often overlooked parts of the home.

A luxurious Jacaranda carpet flows gently from the rich tones of the Amtico flooring below, softening every step and anchoring the entire space in tactile comfort. It’s muted moss hue was chosen to harmonise effortlessly with the bold geometric wallpaper, whose layered slate blues and greys add depth and visual rhythm to the vertical surfaces along with the elegantly made custom hand painted panelling and secret bookcase door acting as a divider to the floors above.

Framing the natural light at the top of the landing is a bespoke window pelmet tailored to mirror the geometric strength of the wallpaper, while softening the architectural lines with a refined, textural detail, while beneath it, the sun filters through the stained glass like a piece of living art, dancing over the stairwell and drawing the eye ever upwards.

Every element here was considered. Every texture and tone, aligned. The result? A serene, sophisticated space that feels both rooted and uplifting timeless design that quietly speaks volumes.

We’d love to know what’s your favourite feature in this space is?
