So on Friday I set off very early to go and help a friend out at his Dad's house up in Brora! A bit out of my normal beat.

It was a fantastic drive up including a wee stop at for a coffee and pastry!

I needed to stop off at Jewson Inverness to pick up a few bits before heading up the A9.

Over the course of the weekend we got our jobs done and also managed to fit in a wee distillery visit too!

If you remember my post from a couple of weeks ago, we had a swarm of wild bees at my current job. The other day, Danni from www.facebook.com/share/16ng4aexnp/ came out check on them. It looks like the bees are doing great and have taken up residence in their new hive, whilst some still use the base of the oak tree.

It was so relaxing being in amongst the bees - they are so calm! Not what I expected.

A little before and after! Taxidermy repair certainly wasn't on my list of things to do in 2025!

This deer's nose was damaged and didn't look great so I managed to repair it and get it looking like new.

I don't think I'll add taxidermist to my CV though.

You also get a little sneak peek as to the colour of this gorgeous sun room I've just finished. Thanks to for the Q1 flooring protector!

Day 2 of the bees! The first video is yesterday when the bees were just orientating themselves with their new surroundings. The second video is the bees this morning; much calmer and all settled in their new home - they chose the trunk of the oak tree as home!

Not what I expected to hear or see today!! What an amazing sight, how they all just moved in a cloud then all swarmed underneath the big oak tree.

I've always wanted to keep bees; I think this is the closest I'll get though.
