Happy Christmas everyone. Feels odd to only have made one wreath this year, but its really not been a great year and I have a horrible shoulder injury. Heres to a better, happier, healthier 2026.

I can't believe she's not here anymore. She called me a fixer, but I can't fix this however much I want to. Thank you for asking me to do Chelsea with you, for teaching me how to do foam free funeral flowers and being so lovely, friendly and down to earth. I wish I had seen you sing or had the chance to talk to you about your travels and you owe me lunch! You're not supposed to die yet! You are in my letter of wishes to do my funeral flowers and I wish you'd been too old to do them. You can keep my boots, that would have made you laugh. Sleep well love ###

Thank you so much for the stunningly beautiful flowers you arranged for Dad's funeral.  The first thing Louise from the funeral directors said when she came to the door was 'What gorgeous flowers!'

You took care to find out what sort of flowers would be suitable, and  when the family saw the finished arrangement, it felt like we could step back into his actual garden. He and mum both loved soft colours, naturally intertwining  flowers and plants, and how different colours, heights and shapes  went together. Yοu created the perfect tribute with your flowers, and they added to the overall tone of the service, where Dad's love for his garden was mentioned more than once.

A  highlight was when I told my family and friends that there was a pot with a plant, taken from the arrangement,  especially for them to take home and look after. They were so delighted at the idea , as this is not what you expect when you attend a funeral! But to me, it's the perfect way to remember someone after they are no longer with us in person. I know that each plant will bring joy to each family member and friend for many years and Dad would have been absolutely delighted. How I wish he could have seen everything.

You have been so helpful and considerate and made it so easy for the arrangement  to be admired and to continue in another form.

I really hope others will be inspired to ask you to arrange funeral flowers. Knowing that every part of the arrangement was sustainable was such a comforting thought as I simply cannot bear waste.

Simply lovely to hear that and all the reasons I love to do funeral flowers :)

This awkward flipping labrador has a hypersensitive nose and has decided he is allergic to flowers. So if I bring them in the house, he moves out or upstairs. It's very lucky I love him.
