CHAFER GRUBS!!!

Whilst the lawns are still recovering, you might look at your lawns and think that the yellow patches are still from the dry summer we’ve had. This is not always the case as a growing number of lawns in the past few weeks that I have visited has led to the discovery of Chafer Grubs in some lawns.

LOOK OUT FOR:

Yellow, patchy and thinning grass.

The grubs eat the grass roots, making the lawn weak and discoloured. Increased bird activity on the lawn can also be an indication, as well as an uneven and bumpy lawn.

How to treat?

You can purchase Nematodes online and follow the instructions on how to apply.

Lawns starting to fully recover after the draught.
These lawns are on treatment programs so the lawns have recovered faster due to essential nutrients being supplied to the grass roots during stress. 🌱☀️

I started treating this customers lawn 2 years ago.
He in fact took my leaflet out of the bin which his wife had thrown away as he just so happened to want some advice and help with his lawns.
Both lawns were full of w**ds and the rear suffering with poor water drainage due to compaction.
He is now on my treatment cycle of 4 treatments a year and also Aeration once a year to help with the compact lawn.
I now have 6 other customers on the same street due to word of mouth and seeing their neighbours lawn change. 🟩🟩
