We transform paint waste into affordable colour and run creative workshops that bring the community together. Seagulls is a grass roots social enterprise specialising in the collection and redistribution of leftover household paint. We collect paint from Leeds City Council household waste sites, reprocess it and sell it cheap. Anyone can come and buy paint from one of our 2 paint shops. We have ov

er 10 years experience in paint and offer a friendly, bespoke paint mixing service. Sprucing up your home is now affordable for ALL Leeds residents. At the heart of Seagulls is a unique volunteer programme (please call or look on our website for details). HEATWAVE UPDATE 🥵🥵🥵

Our warehouse has officially transformed from a paint store into a very large, very sweaty greenhouse.

With temperatures soaring, no air conditioning and approximately zero breeze, we’ve decided that staff welfare comes before slowly melting into puddles of reclaimed paint.

For this reason we’ll be closing at 12pm on the following days:
•Wednesday
•Thursday
•Friday

We’ll still be open from 9am each day.

Thanks for bearing with us while we try to avoid becoming part of the inventory. Stay cool, drink water and we’ll see you in the mornings! 💦🐦

Today feels a little different at Seagulls.

Yesterday we said goodbye to our lifelong furry friend, shop dog, and Queen of Seagulls, Martha.

Anyone who has worked, volunteered, shopped, or been part of the Seagulls journey will know just how much she meant to us. From the endless painty paw prints, to being intensely watched while eating your lunch, to carefully stepping over her as she stretched out across the corridor, Martha was woven into the fabric of this place.

Creating this tribute was both easy and incredibly difficult. Easy because Martha is probably the most photographed dog in Leeds. Difficult because every photo brings back a memory. As we looked through hundreds of pictures, the team found comfort and joy in remembering all the moments she gave us over the years.

For every photo you see, there are a hundred more — stealing snacks with her eyes, cuddling volunteers, causing chaos around the shop, or simply being the absolute golden queen that she was.

The shop will be forever quieter without her, but she will live on in our stories, our memories, and in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Martha forever.

At Seagulls, we offer corporate experiences that combine creativity, wellbeing, volunteering and social value all while supporting a local social enterprise.

Whether your goals are team bonding, employee wellbeing, volunteering or simply giving your staff something different to talk about on Monday morning, we’ve got you covered.

•Paint with Purpose•
Roll up your sleeves and help us sort and save paint that would otherwise go to waste. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at Seagulls before finishing with time to get creative and Play with Paint.

•Play with Paint•
No targets. No PowerPoints. Just paint. Work together on a mural, throw colour around, get messy and rediscover the joy of being creative. No artistic experience required.
