In partnership with we’ve built some simple pallet compost bays at the entrance to our site. The right hand bay is full of their waste substrate (straw and sawdust) and this adding the bays here makes it a lot easier to deliver to. We mix it with household fruit and veg waste to make our that we use on site. We will be experimenting with various composts and techniques in the other two bays - watch this space !
