2024 has been a busy year for the Fusion team. We are extremely proud of the schemes we have created and grateful to our clients, contractors and suppliers for the support they have given us. Whether the projects are large or small, hard work and long hours mixed with travel and fun along the way makes for great results. We showcase a selection of schemes we have completed this year and look forward to an equally busy 2025. May we wish you all a very Happy & Healthy New Year.

Greene King Pub & Social
We are really pleased to showcase some photographs of our recently completed Oadby Owl in Leicester. This is our second Pub and Social site for Greene King. The refurbishment comprised of the full interior and garden areas, extending the terrace at the front elevation and introducing a covered pergola to the rear. The interior features an eclectic mix of wallpaper and fabric finishes, which define each of the areas. With cosy booths, cocktail tables and several bookable areas, The Oadby Owl is the perfect venue, whatever the occasion.

We wish the whole GK team the very best of luck and thank you to all the contractors and suppliers for helping us deliver a great scheme.

We are really pleased to share a few photographs from our recently completed Slug & Lettuce project at Albert Square in Manchester. This is the fourth site to feature the new generation Slug & Lettuce design concept and includes stand out elements such as a striking new bar with gold ribbed panelling, arched back bar displays, seating booths with metalwork rafts and trailing foliage, suspended rafts with integrated AV controlled lighting and an assortment of loose furniture items all upholstered in a mix of beautiful pink, teal and gold fabrics. The refurbishment has breathed a new lease of life into the venue, and alongside the already popular Slug & Lettuce on Deansgate completed in September 2023, the Albert Square site is now another go to destination in the city centre to enjoy the great selection of cocktails, wines and food that Slug & Lettuce has on offer.

A little trip to Norwich to review our recently completed Pub & Kitchen scheme at The King’s Head, Hoveton for Greene King. It has been a few years in the making with further works in the garden due to be completed later this year. A full refurbishment of both the pub and hotel. Professional photographs to follow. We wish the whole GK team the very best of luck and a big thank you to all the other consultants, contractors and suppliers for helping us bring this scheme together. .

We are delighted to share a few ‘Handover’ photographs taken on site today at The Glasgow Westerwood Hotel. Some ‘sparkle’ works to the GF F&B and Spa Entrance Areas. A huge thank you to the amazing .lighting for all your efforts. We wish Andrew and his team at The Hilton Westerwood Hotel the very best of luck.
At Fusion by Design we work as a team so ordinarily we don’t name individuals on projects but on this occasion we would like to congratulate , our youngest member of the team, for handing over a fantastic project where she took the lead on the design & specification of the F&F items. Well done Beth for all your hard work.

It was a pleasure to revisit Belton Woods Hotel and Spa this week. We were on site briefing additional works to compliment the Bar and Restaurant area which we completed in 2020.

Our second review meeting of 2024. This time we were on site at The Rockingham Arms in the village of Wentworth. A long time in the making but we couldn’t be more pleased with the completed scheme….. and once again the client requires more furniture. A great problem to have.
We wish the whole team continued success.

The Fletchers Arms, Denton. Our first project for The Almond Family/Robinsons Brewery.
What a lovely site to work on with a great team of people. The refurbishment comprised of a complete repositioning of the bar servery creating a dramatic backdrop and providing the perfect summer service area into the beer garden. New booth seating, adaptions and alterations to the existing carvery, refurbishment of some of the existing furniture and most importantly creating ‘Doug’s Corner’
We wish Doug, James, Vicky and The Almond Family team the very best of luck.
