With the weather been hit and miss this weekend we’ve still managed to form the dormer, install the new roof soars to the front section of the house and start work on building up the new gables.

This will be ready to make fully water tight next week with the osb boards going on, latting and felting the new roof structure and getting it ready for its finished decorative anthracite grey composite cladding.

The inside also started taking shape on our job in Baildon with the kitchen dinning area and utility area being plasterboarded and plastered this week. What a difference it’s made and it’s drying out nicely.

It’ll be ready next week for new LVT flooring to go down and the start of the utility and kitchen being fitted. Possibly even some paint on the walls.

Well this project took a huge leap forward this week completing the externals on the extension with a coating of the monocouche render system. Which gives the finished look something special. It’s really made this extension pop.

Also completing the garden work with some lovely grey Indian pave stones and copings. A detailed curved raised patio area to step away from those oh so often straight lines in a garden. Adding some sleepers for creating the planters for the garden and beautiful new lawn laid to add some life to the garden.

Just the planters to be filled by the client and this garden is summer ready and waiting to be enjoyed.

Midweek we had floor screed team in to screed the new concrete floor for our job in Baildon. What a great finish this has given us.

Next stage, ready for plasterboarding next week! All electrics first fixed by JC Electrical services.

Very proud to be joint sponsor for the guiseley whites u11s this season, they all had an amazing season finishing winners of the league cup.

The boys have worked hard all season and finishing with a nail biting 1-1 draw in the final and going on to win 5-4 on penalties. Very nervy game throughout but when it came to the crunch the boys came out on top. Great performance by all the boys. Being proud is an understatement.

Well it was time to roll out the underfloor heating on this job. With the insulation down in the new kitchen, dining area and utility room. We prepped the DPM membrane and laid the underfloor heating matting and rolled out the pipework. All ready for the screed team to come in and lay the concrete screed on Tuesday next week to give us a nice level floor.

Well under way with our next extension, the build is done, the knock through complete, we are now watertight with our GRP roof and skylights in. Next phase is rendering to the external block work and completion of the new insulated flooring and underfloor heating pipes before the new screeded floor next Tuesday.

AND THATS WRAP FOR THIS WEEK!!!!

2.5 days, 445m2 of turf and the weekend to rest up and do it all again next week putting the finishing touches to this beautiful garden space, outdoor kitchen area and rear extension.
