A little reminder to trust the process…I know it’s hard. And to try and not lose sight of what really matters.
For me right now, it is going to see my family in Greece, especially my father who has defied all odds and is still with us. He is a little miracle 🫶

Have a wonderful day my friends ♥️

I recently had a lovely and much needed break in Italy, with a beautiful group of friends that helped me recharge and nourish my soul ♥️ It sounds dramatic but it’s so true…
My favourite thing to do is not building houses - though I do enjoy that too!- but making connections with other, amazing women. To have a chat over a nice cut of tea/coffee and biscuits wins over anything else for me.

What about you? What nourishes your soul?

As the renovation is becoming more of a disaster, I’m reminding myself that I’m made for much bigger things 😂

To avoid confusion, only the last clip is from our current home (hence the lack of furniture ☺️). I had moments last week where I regretted moving but I’m trying to keep positive this week and remember the reasons why we moved and how it will all be ok in the end.

Colour drenching our windowless powder room in Arras by was one of those decisions that felt exciting and slightly terrifying in equal measure.
When every wall, the ceiling and the woodwork are wrapped in the same rich colour, there’s nowhere to hide. But the result is exactly what I had hoped for: cosy, atmospheric and far more impactful than if we’d played it safe.
I went back and forth more times than I would like to admit but I am really pleased with the result.

Are you team bold and moody or bright and light in small spaces? I’d love to know 👇

I’ve been looking for the perfect finishing touch for this space, and I absolutely love these GlowLux wall lights from ✨
The warm glow they cast in the evenings makes the room feel so much more inviting, and I love that I can switch between three different light settings depending on the mood.
They’re rechargeable, don’t require hard wiring, and can be installed in minutes, making them a really easy way to add both style and ambience to a room. I decided to drill mine for extra stability, but you can also use the adhesive fitting. I chose the black finish, but they come in a range of colours too.

What do we think – the perfect finishing touch? 🤍

Now wouldn’t that be nice?!
Our new home renovation has been brutal; I have had more bad news today which I’m not going to bore you with but the whole situation has been costly, and not only financially. I think I should start playing the lottery cause I might just be above the age threshold for a sugar daddy 😂

Have a lovely rest of the week xx

Every time I think we’ve reached the final hurdle, another one appears.

At this point, the renovation isn’t my opponent.

Giving up is.

I’m going to milk this Italy trip to eternity 😂 Giglio was lovely - I stayed at La Guardia hotel, ate good food, did some yoga, shopping, trekking and had many laughs with a bunch of amazing girls.
To be honest, I returned to stress and house issues the minute I arrived back but I am determined not to experience what I went through in April ever again. For those who don’t know, I had a mini meltdown then because our home is not finished to a professional standard and talking to the builder meant that he would then arrange for the same trades who would finish things badly in the first place, to come back and do them as badly all over again. The snag lists remained and we kept going round in circles until I lost it 😒
Yesterday our culvert totally flooded and our decking where the pergola is was submerged in water. My gardener also asked me if I didn’t mind him showing me more issues with the drainage, plus damaged stone work. At this point, I’m resigning to the fact that our house might not finish before 2030 and in the meantime, I’m gona keep watching these Med reels, eat lots of tzatziki souvlaki and try to not give a damn.

There is something about ancient cities…
the way they hold history in their walls, romance in their streets, and memories in the air. I was born and raised in Athens so cities like these heavily resonate with me.
Florence and Rome felt less like places I visited,
and more like stories I briefly stepped inside. 🇮🇹

The smallest upgrade made the biggest difference 💍💎
I finally organised my jewellery drawer using these velvet inserts and now everything is easy to see, protected, and actually stays untangled 🙌
Would you organise by colour, jewellery type… or by your most-worn pieces? 👀

I will add all the links in my stories ✨
