Last night, we started watching series 3 of True Detective.
Now we've seen 1, 2*, and 4 already.
There's no follow-on storyline, so you can watch, in whatever order you like.
We binge watched 5 episodes, taking us up to 02:00 this morning.
As usual, headphones went on and the ritual of audio, to drift off to, began.
Now, most times, I take off the headphones in my sleep, usually forgetting to turn off the Bluetooth.
This morning, not for the first time, was different.
I was gently awakened to the sound of George Zamfir's, "The Lonely Shepherd", as my phone illuminated the room.
It was a job!
I answered the phone and introduced myself, asked them a few routine questions and asked them to send me the address and replied, with a rough ETA, just before setting off.
I arrived, at the time I said, with four minutes to spare.
There was no sign of them, I messaged to let them know I had arrived and they called to me know they were on their way.
UBER driver, was "driving Miss Daisy"!
They arrived, I opened the door and they told me that they had called around twenty, other, so called 24hr Locksmiths but only one other answered, saying that "they didn't have anyone in the area", which, to me, indicated they're a national, with a Leeds landline number.
Any way, they asked about the door security, saying they might changed the door, to which I replied, you just need to change the hardware to make it more secure.
The upshot?
I'm returning, at the end of the month, to make the necessary changes, needed to secure it effectively.
The Moral of this story.
When you offer a service, stand by your offer, it just may benefit you, in the long run.
