I would like to wish all my wonderful customers a Happy Christmas and a very happy New Year. It’s been another very difficult one and I’m so thankful to everyone who has trusted me to do their decorating. Thank you for my wonderful gifts too.

Firstly, Happy New Year to all my wonderful customers. I hope you’ve got through 2020 with less sorrow than us, as a family. I lost a precious son, my brother lost his best friend, my half siblings lost their cousin, a close family of ours lost their husband/dad I wish you all a very happy 2021... although it’s not looking great right now! It was the hardest year of our life’s!!! Other close friends have suffered losses too! This virus is real!!! I’ve been very careful, suffered financially, as having to look after my 86 year old mum. She’s still in so much pain with sciatica and more. I now need to be even more careful as I do quotes or do work... so please, if i come and quote, or do your work, please keep your distance. Masks...a room for me to work in. I need to earn money but also to protect me and my mum. I have stayed away to protect my mum... but so miss my hugs with my children and grandchildren... keeping strictly to rules now.
Please stick to rules now everyone. Let’s get us all back to normal ASAP!!

Hi everyone.
I’m sorry I’ve not posted anything since early March and seem to have neglected my page/business.
That last post/pics of the stairs, paper going on as using a plank to walk along was done with one of my 3 sons help. He used to put the planks up for me, hold the paper, keep me safe etc. As well as everything else... my work buddy! Also helped me on our allotment!
On Mother’s Day that son, Ashley, aged just 28, left this awful world! 😓💔 Not Covid! As a family we have been to hell and back. As a mother I am utterly devastated! My other children, 3 daughters and 2 sons, have been amazing through their own grief. Believe me, they have suffered greatly! I am so proud of the way they have kept their strength and managed to get back to some sort of ‘new normal’ and working hard. I couldn’t wish for better kids!
We could not even identify our Lashy or view his body while resting 😓 We had a wonderful funeral by Sellers and conducted by a good friend Bernie. My poor 86 year old mum couldn’t even go... she so loved her grandson! Flowers were unobtainable at that time but a friend works at Morrison’s and she sorted an arrangement out for us of what few flowers they got that morning. The store manager Ed gave them to me free of charge! People have such fabulous flowers to accompany loved ones on their final journey and although ours were not what we would have had.... they meant the world to us!!
I have jobs I should have done as lockdown came. I’ve people asking for quotes/jobs to be done. I started back 3 weeks ago to pay my bills and taking one day at a time. No pressure jobs. Anyone who knows me knows I work non stop! I need to take it one day at a time. Not even had a wake yet for our Ashley and grieve/celebrate his life with his extended family!
I’ve not sat moping about. I’ve made hundreds and hundreds of face masks. Headbands with buttons and scrub bags too to start with. All seen on my Beaubags57 page.
My plan is to deal with work I have at the moment... catch up a bit. Then hopefully make a fresh start in the new year to get back to working almost full time.
