🌿 Last Day of Work Experience for Logan 🌿

Today marked Logan’s final day of work experience with us, and what a great few days it’s been.

We spent the day working across Kirby Muxloe, Desford and Leicester Forest East, carrying out our usual mix of lawn maintenance and garden care — and Logan got stuck in from the start. From helping prepare equipment to getting hands-on with the mowing and seeing what goes into keeping gardens looking their best, he’s done brilliantly.

It’s been great having him alongside us and giving him an insight into the hard work, attention to detail, and pride that goes into professional garden maintenance every day. Safe to say he’s taken to it well… and maybe there’s a future gardener in the making 🌱👏

🌿 A Special Few Days at Johnson Garden Maintenance 🌿

Today — and over the next couple of days — we’ve got the pleasure of having our son Logan alongside us completing his school work experience.

For his first day getting involved with the mowers and seeing what garden maintenance is all about, it’s fair to say he’s taken to it naturally… maybe it really does run in the blood! 🌱💚

From preparing equipment to helping keep lawns looking sharp and learning what goes into maintaining beautiful gardens, it’s been great to share a small part of what we do day to day.

We’re looking forward to showing him more over the next couple of days and giving him a real insight into the hard work, pride, and attention to detail that goes into professional garden maintenance.

🌿☀️ A Welcome Return of sunshine ☀️ 🌿

After a run of wet weather, it was great to finally see a bit of sunshine during today’s maintenance round across Blaby and Glenfield.

Today’s work included regular lawn maintenance and general garden care, with lawns responding well to the recent rainfall and a little warmth returning. The combination of rain and sunshine is exactly what gardens need at this time of year — helping everything stay healthy, green, and looking its best.

From large family gardens to detailed borders and neatly striped lawns, another productive day completed and some fantastic outdoor spaces looking refreshed and ready to enjoy for what is said to be a fantastic weekend.

☀️ With the mini heatwave behind us and ideal gardening weather returning, it’s been the perfect day to catch up on hedge maintenance and lawn care across Leicestershire. 🌿

🌿 Thursday Garden Maintenance Round – Glenfield & Kirby Muxloe 🌿

Today’s maintenance round took us across Glenfield and Kirby Muxloe, where we’ve been busy keeping gardens looking their very best.

With a mixture of lawn mowing, hedge cutting, and shrub maintenance, we’re finally reaching the last of this season’s hedge and shrub work. Despite the recent dry spell, the lawns are still looking neat and healthy, and the recent rainfall will help keep them thriving throughout the summer months.

🌿 Monday Garden Maintenance in Glenfield 🌿

Today’s maintenance visit in Glenfield saw us tending to some beautiful gardens and lawns that have certainly felt the effects of the recent heatwave. After weeks of dry conditions, many lawns are showing signs of stress and are in need of a well-deserved drink.

With light rain forecast throughout the week, nature is set to lend a helping hand. The moisture will help these lawns recover, encouraging stronger growth and bringing back that rich green colour we all love to see.

While the sunshine has been welcomed, this recent heat has certainly become challenging however we’ve battled on where some have not. Despite our comfort, reliability for our clients comes first. ☀️

However, long days, high temperatures, and little relief overnight are taking its toll on us and our equipment— safe to say a welcomed forecast of cooler weather will be appreciated.
