Two 90+ft lombardy pops in Leicester pollarded. One lost its main central leeder in some strong winds landing through a neighbours green house. So it was clearly time to knock them back hard and let them have another go, from a height that's far more manageble for the future years.

Mature ash reduction

Lombardy pop removal as it had a large wound at the base and working up the stem with severe rot present. Also it had contracted Armillaria mellea or honey fungus which is detrimental to the root system... Not ideal next to a house!

Conifer hedge back in control

Dead silver birch felled with little room for error, between a telephone line and fence. I was glad of my decision when I saw the splits and white rot in the base!
