Water damaged leaves from over spraying can cause all sorts of damage , Calatheas love humidity but those who have velvety leaves don't like it so much . Pop some pebbles inside the pot and a little water then sit the nursery pot directly on top of the pebbles, no need to spray these girls, this method will also prevent those curly crispy leaves. If you have to mist use warm distilled water and never at night . The gnats thrive in dark damp soil.
