✅ Project complete…

This week we wrapped up a new footpath and wall, featuring these stunning 600 x 900 Indian sandstone slabs in a Raj Blend colourway.

The paving was laid on a 50mm wet bed of sand and cement, over 120mm of fully compacted Type 1 stone for a solid, long-lasting base.

The area is perfectly finished with Cotswold chippings, adding a clean and elegant touch.

We also built a bespoke planter, mirroring the client’s existing wall, designed to keep the dog out of the flowerbeds — practical, sturdy, and looks great!

We will be revisiting next year to add a soak-away system and re soil/turf the garden. 🪏

What a week it’s been — but it’s always worth it! 💪

Here we’ve laid Brett Bronze Aura Flecks in a stretcher bond pattern, and the results speak for themselves — absolutely stunning! ✨

As always, the job was completed to the highest standard:
• 🔹 150mm sub-base
• 🔹 50mm of sand
• 🔹 60mm Bronze Aura Flecks

Back from holiday and straight back into it!💪

Here we’ve laid a beautiful block from Tobermore — Shannon (Duo) Paving in Slate, chosen by the client for its sleek, modern look.

Installed on a solid 150mm Type 1 MOT sub-base with 50mm of sand to ensure strength and durability — built to last and finished to perfection.✅
A new step and planters were also added, ready to be infilled by the customer for a personal touch.

The weather wasn’t exactly on our side for this project, but that never stops us! 💪

We ripped out the old patio, laid down and compacted a solid 150mm sub-base, and finished it off with stunning grey Indian sandstone slabs (600x900) paired with a matching grey jointing compound. The transformation has given this garden a completely new lease of life ✨

To meet our client’s needs, we also installed fresh fence panels throughout – the perfect finishing touch.

✅ That’s a wrap on our latest job – and what an outcome!

From the dig out, to a solid 150mm sub-base, to 50mm of sand, this project was built to last.

We installed Silver Haze blocks chosen by our client laid in a 90° herringbone pattern, finished with a triple border and a charcoal centre to add contrast and make the design stand out even more. All complemented by sleek Black Ice stone.

To complete the transformation, we built a brand-new wall that really makes everything come together beautifully.

We’re over the moon with the result – and so is another happy customer!

Our biggest project to date, what a transformation and another happy customer.

Here we have laid these beautiful Kilsaran Inish Block Pavers in Charcoal which delivers a traditional aesthetic. These pavers are designed for durability and style, each 200x50x60mm block features a rustic tumbled edge, making it ideal for adding character to driveways, patios, and pathways, and the outcome just goes to show what an amazing paver they really are.

Being such a small block and being laid on a 45° herringbone this was no quick easy feet but it was no match for our team here at Mason’s Paving & landscaping. Myself, my team and the customer are over the moon with the outcome.

Small patio complete and another happy customer.

This client previously had a small crazy paved patio and wanted to give their garden a new lease of life.

The customer didn’t want slabs and chose to go for block pavers instead!

Out with the old in with the new!

This customer chose a silver haze block with a charcoal border laid on a 90° herringbone bond.

Removing the Laurel plants from the left hand side to create more space, and removing the old timber planters replacing them with a bullnose charcoal kerb for a smart and tidy finish.

Lift and relay for this happy customer. This client got in contact regarding there driveway sinking, in some areas it had dropped over 100mm.
We come in and dug out the old layer of sand down to the subase and added a further 1.5 ton of type 1 stone to create and new solid subase before adding a fresh layer of sand and relaying the blocks to suit the customers requirements.
