Congratulations to Flora Quinnell...👏

Flora is completing her RIBA Part 1 placement with us while studying Architecture at the University of Strathclyde.

The university nominated her for the Women in Property Student Awards 2025 (Student Category), now in its 19th year.

At the regional ceremony in Glasgow in May, she was named one of two Scottish finalists, and last month attended the Best of the Best Dinner at Claridge’s, London, celebrating future leaders in property and construction. Alas, no medals... this time at least!

Judges praised Flora’s enthusiasm, knowledge, articulation and professionalism👌

We are strong supporters of the positive impact that sailing and water-based activities have on skill-building and community engagement. We’re excited to be one of the main sponsors of the Shetland Sailing Team for their 2025 Island Games campaign in Orkney 😀

Recently, four Shetland dinghies travelled over 800 miles to participate in a major dinghy event in Largs, where 57 dinghies attended. The event tested their light wind skills, provided essential experience in large fleets racing after fine-tuning their ILCA (Laser) single-handed dinghies.

Looking ahead, the team will be heading to East Lothian in a few weeks for another similar event, in addition to their regular sailing practice in Shetland as they prepare for the Island Games in July 👌

We're delighted to showcase our recently completed housing project at Marthastoon in the rural village of Aith (pronounced 'Eid' in local dialect).
