Hi Rebecca,

Hope you are well. Just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the engineers for our new boiler install yesterday, it all went very smoothly and we are so happy with it (it’s so nice to have heating and hot water once again – no more cold showers!). The engineers were great, very pleasant and courteous and made the whole experience as painless as possible – many thanks to them.
I have just settled the invoice this morning via bank transfer so the money may already be with you.

Once again many thanks for all your help in getting what was a headache sorted.

We at Bakker & Wilson Plumbing and Heating Ltd have lots of phone calls this time of year regarding boilers not working due to their condensate pipe from the boiler being frozen (this is the white and sometimes black pipe that comes out at the bottom of your boiler.)
This can prevent the boiler from functioning properly. The boiler naturally produces a small amount of waste gas which turns to water as it cools. The condensate pipe drains this water outside.

Common symptoms of frozen condensate pipes are:
- The boiler makes unusual gurgling or bubbling noises
- The boiler displays warning lights or error codes
- The boiler has shut down

To defrost your condensate pipe, pour warm water (not boiling) over the pipe. You may need to reset your boiler once the pipe has thawed out.

Thanks for registering the new boiler and sending the certificate.
I was very impressed with the professional way in which the work was done yesterday and also the friendly and helpful way in which you guys went about it.
