We are looking for a reliable and experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative / Assistant Gardener to join our team.

This role involves working on a regular commercial grounds maintenance circuit, maintaining a range of professional sites to a high standard as part of a friendly and hardworking team.

There is also an opportunity for the right candidate to progress into a Team Leader role, taking responsibility for running the maintenance circuit.

The Role

Working across a number of commercial sites carrying out tasks such as:

Grass cutting and strimming
Hedge cutting and shrub maintenance
General grounds maintenance duties
Herbicide application in line with certification
Transporting equipment between sites including towing trailers
This is a physically active outdoor role in all weather conditions, so applicants must be comfortable working outside year-round.

Essential Requirements

Previous grounds maintenance or horticultural experience
PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates
Full UK manual driving licence
Confidence towing trailers
Good awareness of Health & Safety procedures
Commercial grounds maintenance experience is preferred.

What We Offer

£12.71 – £13.21 per hour depending on experience
Full-time permanent role
Paid overtime available
All PPE provided
Regular commercial maintenance circuit
