Fenside Cottage, large bulge on side elevation.
Had to scaffold prop the whole side of house, carefully drop the ground floor elevation whilst first floor propped and supported.
Rebuilt ground floor wall.
Then propped the roof, dropped first floor wall and Rebuilt that. Lime mortar with clean decent sized mid wall stones, using original stone blended with new limestone dressed to suit.
Also built in a downstairs window opening to clients needs.

A very testing project which will give Mrs Dormouse fitted, another hundred year plus of life watching over the fens!

Here's one of my latest projects, a lovely village limestone cottage which had been previously repointed with cement.
Raked out cement mortar and repointed with lime, cut out and replaced around 50 perished stones with hand carved to exact shape and texture.
