I have worked from home since I set up Southover Design, a Surrey-based design company over 2o years ago. For me ‘WFH’ is the norm, but I know it only works if you have a space where you can be productive and relax. Without a designated working zone, no matter how small, it is very difficult to focus and to create a healthy work/life balance. Your working area has to work! That means a good desk, a supportive chair, decent lighting, some storage and good quality WIFI.
